Ethiopia: 5 Senior DDS Cabinet Members Accused of Supporting ONLF Jailed.

Ethiopia(kilil5)—Five Cabinet Members of the Somali State administration of Ethiopia who have been accused of having links with the rebel group Ogaden National Liberation Front have been to taken to prison. After a weeklong meeting symposium for all workers of the regional Somali administration in which all the regions bureaus have been evaluated both for their work quality, service to the regions citizens and trying to expose some of the State workers who have been accused of being double agents for the rebel ONLF group and Al-Itaah and another flintier group Tadaamul, groups which the federal Ethiopian government and the Somali regional State tagged them “Terrorist groups”, at least 5 Senior cabinet members have been jailed. It’s expected that more workers and mid level managers and administrators will also be fired from their work and will be taken to court for their alleged association with these groups and some might be jailed for working for them.

The five cabinet members taken to the jail for their alleged association with these rebel groups and insurgents are:

1. Abdirashid Sharif-Department of Agriculture Bureau chief.

2.Abdirahman Dheere-Assistant bureau chief in the department of business and Trade.

3. Deputy Chief of Bureau of education Mr. Idris who have been accused of aiding Al-Itihaad and donating department money to Al-Itahaad terrorist group.

4. Sheikh Axmed Aabi-a senior member of in the region’s religious office have been accused of being a senior member of Tadaamul terrorist group.

5. Bashir Abdullahi-head of the Bureau of revenues and budgetary who is also accused of being part of the ONLF rebel group and secretly giving State money to ONLF operatives working throughout the region.
